KILDONAN CO-ED SOFTBALL LEAGUE 2024
TUESDAY- THURSDAY SCHEDULE
No alcohol permitted at (or around) City Diamonds. This includes parking lots- NO TAILGATING. Anyone caught will be subject to possible League Suspensions. Please go to a player’s place or your favorite watering hole if you want to have a few after a game
No Outside Food, Beverages or Liquor allowed at Buhler Park. Anyone caught with outside liquor will be barred from the Park for a year and team will FORFEIT game if playing at time of infraction
$4.00 gate fee at Buhler (kids 17 & under are free) Please bring debit card and exact change if possible then you can buy advance gate tickets at the concession
Each team supplies 2 worth hot dots when they are HOME team
Scorecards supplied by the umpire, but the winning team must bring in scorecard immediately after game/s to the bartender at Boston Pizza Regent Lounge for all City diamonds. Games at Buhler Park must bring to scorecard bucket at concession area immediately after game/s or risk forfeit. Please put first AND last names on the score cards
There are 12 weeks to play 9 doubleheaders so all teams will have 3 BYE weeks
We will try to schedule rainouts on BYE weeks to avoid weekend makeup games
Team pay the umps $35.00 (cash) at ground rules to cover both games

All teams are automatically entered (unless your team notifies the League to pull out)
If you pull out by May 28th you will not be subject to fines or ump fees but will take 4 losses in the standings
If your team can not play that weekend email the League at kildonansports@shaw.ca by no later than Tuesday, May 28th t Any teams do not notify the League by May 28th and can’t field a team will be subject to $100.00 fine, so PLEASE ask your team their availability. We will have several divisions based on caliber with all nights mixed and matched to play each other
We have the League tournament for a few reasons:
- It gives teams a chance to play teams (hopefully) closer in caliber and teams from other nights giving a variety of opponents - It gives the League a trial run to see how teams from different nights stack up against each other so we can get it right (as possible) once the Playoff weekend comes - Teams can win great prizes, and oh yeah, for the teams…it is FUN!!
The first 4 games count in standings. Entry fee to tournament is covered in League fees but teams must pay $4.00 gate fees when playing at Buhler Park (kids under 18 get in free) Teams supply game balls and pay for umps (5 inning games- $15 per game) Minimum of 4 games, maximum of 7 games
League tournament round robin games for the Friday and Saturday will be released no later than Wednesday, June 5th

Deadline to pull out of League Playoffs is July 30th
Playoff Weekend is August 9th- 11th for all League teams
If your team can not play that weekend email the League at kildonansports@shaw.ca by no later than July 30th Any teams do not notify the League by July 30th and can’t field a team will be subject to $100.00 fine, so PLEASE ask your team their availability.
Remember all players and spares must have PLAYED 8 games for YOUR team to be eligible to play so please plan ahead

Parking at McLeans Reservoir- Parking only allowed in area just as you pull into the parking lot. Please do NOT park along the fences or buildings as they WILL tow you
There is limited parking spots -You can also park in the grass between the treeline and the parking lot |
