The League Tournament, Manitoba’s LARGEST Coed Softball Tournament will be held on June 11th, 12th & 13th with headquarters, draw and beer gardens held at Buhler Recreation Park
The Beer gardens will be at the clubhouse between the 2 wheels. There will also be a Beer Garden set up on the 2 wheels (set of 4 diamonds) so you may purchase beer, water and pop right at the diamond and legally have a beer and watch games in the designated areas. No alcohol on or around bench area!! Anyone caught with outside alcohol or drinking outside designated areas with be barred from the park for the remainder of the weekend and face possible suspension from League play.
The Tournament is included in league fees and the first 4 games will count in standings. Only League teams, with rostered players, will be allowed with all league rules being used. The tournament will be a round robin format and all teams will play 1 game Friday and 2 Saturday with teams going in A ,B , C & D for Sunday where first loss and your out, but come back to the beer gardens and party with the league. All games in tournament will be 5 innings with a 15 run mercy after 3 innings, 10 run mercy after 4 innings. Teams will now pay the umpires- $10 per team, per game.
Buhler Park and the League will set up diamonds for all tournament games EXCEPT on FRIDAY NIGHT. All diamonds not at Buhler Park, the home team must supply bases and set up diamond and supply mat on FRIDAY ONLY. Saturday and Sunday the League will set up the diamonds but home team still supplies the MAT. The home team must supply 2 playable game balls for each game and a MAT (all teams bring your mat to all games INCLUDING at Buhler Park). Teams will flip a coin for home team. The teams will pay umpires fees for the League Tournament ($10.00 each). Winning team must bring scorecard to the designated spot at the beer gardens next to draw sheet immediately after completion of the game or risk forfeiting.
To be eligible to play on Sunday of the League Tournament a player must have played at least one game for your team prior to the Sunday (regular season or Tournament games) and be signed to League roster. Anyone caught with illegal players will forfeit game/s. This may help prevent teams from “stacking” their teams on the Sunday on the tournament.
The tournament schedule for the first game of the 3 round robin games will be emailed to all teams on Wednesday, June 10th and posted online. You must come to Buhler Recreation Park anytime after 6 PM on Friday, June 12th to check draw sheet for remaining times. Teams must check email or send a representative down to check when you play, as the league will not be calling teams! There will be a FREE PATIO PARTY on Friday, June 11th at Buhler Recreation Park. From 7 PM- 1 AM open to all players, friends and family of the Kildonan Coed Softball League (No ticket required) Beer Gardens inside and out Saturday and Sunday 11 AM- 9 PM.
All Champs & finalist will receive SPN Molson Slo-pitch prizing which will be presented at the beer gardens Sunday, June 13th after all finals are complete

Teams please check remaining games anytime after 6 PM Friday at Buhler Park. There will be a draw sheet and scorecard bucket at the gate on FRIDAY ONLY, so teams playing offsite do not have to pay $2.00 to check draw times. Draw sheets and scorecard bucket will also be in Beer Garden Area All Weekend
We do not release the entire schedule in case Friday is rained out. It would cause too much confusion to change a schedule that teams have already seen. If we are rained out Friday, Saturday’s first games will be online and emailed out Friday as early as possible
Please support Buhler Recreation Park as they are a Community Owned Facility- please no outside food of drinks at Buhler Park. They will be serving food, water, pop, and alcohol at Beer Gardens as well as right at the Diamonds
NO COOLERS, COOLER BAGS or outside drink containers (ie Big Gulp Cups, coffee cups) allowed in the park. They WILL be doing random bag checks all weekend upon entry to the Park
The League and the Park will confiscate until the weekend is over (and if there is any alcohol, the person will be suspended from Buhler Park for one calendar year.) PLEASE LET ALL YOUR TEAM MATES KNOW THIS!!
GATE FEE- Kids 18 and under get in FREE all weekend- $2.00 per day fee in effects for all adults
SUPER PASS only $6.00
gets you in all 3 days of the League tournament AND the Summer League Playoffs. Save a Few $$ and avoid the hassle of pulling out a twoonie each day. Please let your team know this!!! Passes will be sold at the gates all weekend- Only 1000 available

LEAGUE TOURNAMENT GUIDELINES
SCORECARDS ARE TO BE HANDED TO BOBBY J or STEVE HUSK OR PLACED IN THE BUCKET BT DRAW SHEET AT BEER GARDENS AT BUHLER PARK (NOT BOSTON PIZZA) BY WINNING TEAM IMMEDIATLEY AFTER GAMES COMPLETION OR YOUR TEAM FORFIETS (LOSING TEAM WILL STILL LOSE BUT SCORE WILL BE RECORDED AS 0-0 with +/- of “0” for both teams
Beer Gardens at Head Quarters will be at Buhler Park
The team listed on the left sets bases (for their game only) at all diamonds, except at Buhler Park on FRIDAY NIGHT ONLY. Saturday & Sunday bases will be supplied and set up at all diamonds. Teams will flip a coin for home team, except games Friday, the team that sets up automatically wins coin toss. Winner of coin toss has option of home or away. If team is leading in the bottom of the fifth inning, they DO NOT bat to increase +/- so it may be better to be away team.
Each team supplies one playable game ball (Worth Grey Dot)
All games 5 innings with 15 run mercy after third (2 ½ innings if home team is winning)
or 10 run mercy after fourth complete inning (3 ½ innings if home team is winning) 7 run max per inning rule in effect for League Tournament only, with 5th inning “open” unless game is shortened due to time
Time limit- at the 45 minute mark from when the game STARTED you will finish the inning you started and play one more and that final inning will be “open” on Friday & Saturday only. Sunday there is no time limits. Please hustle in and out of field between innings so you can get a complete game in. No warm-ups after 1st inning. “Warm Up’” before your game starts on sidelines while other games are finishing up.
Team will lose their first bats if not ready to play a scheduled game time unless held up playing back to back later in the day Sunday ONLY.
If you have players playing on another team we will NOT hold up games to wait for your players if their other team is playing. Players may play on only one Monday-Wednesday team and one Thursday-Thursday team.
Players must have signed the white League roster and played a minimum of 1 game with YOUR team (either in the tournament or in regular League Play) to be eligible to play Sunday in the Tournament. This is to avoid teams stacking their team on Sunday
First four games will count in standings.
All ties will stay ties in round robin (Fri & Sat). In playoff round (Sunday) all tie games will go into extra innings with international rules applied.
Round robin tie- breaker: 2 points for a win, 1 point for a ties, 0 points for a loss
1.Most wins 2. Who won head to head (it only 2 teams are tied) 3. Best +/- 4. Runs allowed 5. Flip a coin (Maximum +/- for any one game is “10”)
For Sunday, teams will be placed into the following divisions ranked by record after your 3 round robin games:
Division 1:
A- B- 1st- 8th – First game winners stay on A. Losers go to B C- 9th – 14th
Division-2:
A- 1st- 8th B- 9th – 16th C- 17th – 22nd
Division 3
A- 1st- 6th B- 7th – 12th
Division 4:
A- 1st- 12th B- 13th – 20th C- 21st – 28th D- 29th- 36th
Division 5:
A- 1st- 8th B- 9th – 16th C- 17th – 24th D- 25th- 36th
All winners and finalist of each will Receive 14 Molson Slo-pitch prizes. The prizes, ranging from Hoodies to t-shirts to ball caps, will be posted at the draw sheet at Buhler
First loss Sunday, you’re out, except Division 1 A-B
ALL (WHITE) LEAGUE ROSTERS MUST HANDED IN TO BOB or the SCORE CARD BOX AT THE BEER GARDENS BY SATURDAY AT 4 PM OR TEAM WILL BE SUSPENDED FROM FURTHER PLAY!!
